Now

I live in the Northside neighborhood in Cincinnati, OH, with my wife, Beth, and four cats. Beth is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and yoga teacher who specializes in Gestalt psychotherapy, and Jivamukti and trauma-informed yoga. I am the Chief Operating Officer for the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library.

I volunteer for Code Equal, Health Care Access Now, the Jewish Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, Local Initiatives Support Corporation Greater Cincinnati, and the Ohio Justice & Policy Center. I also volunteer for a few library-focused organizations: the American Library Association’s Budget Analysis & Review Committee, the Public Library Association’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Task Force, and the Freedom to Read Foundation. If you are interested in supporting any of these organizations, or you want to contribute to the Library Foundation of Cincinnati & Hamilton County, I would be happy to answer any questions. They all deserve your support.

Weathering the pandemic has been difficult, especially in a city that still feels unfamiliar. Reading has helped, and listening to podcasts. I have also been exercising a lot, mostly bodyweight training and running, and Beth and I spend as much time as we can in Cincinnati Parks.
